Didier Besnard is a French chef with more than 45 years experience. He has worked at an international level in different countries. Studying at the Ecole Hôtelière in Paris laid the foundation for his impressive career.
He worked at Le Fouquet’s (*) and La Tour d’Argent (***) in Paris, along with other restaurants in France. In 1982, he moved to the Netherlands to obtain his first Michelin star at restaurant Molen de Dikkert near Amsterdam.
In 1992, he started his own restaurant as patron cuisinier at restaurant Belvedère in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
Since 2003, Didier has been working as a culinary consultant, organising cooking workshops and specialising in private dining. Didier is an excellent host and likes to talk about his creations.
